The journey of creating your dream home should be a pleasure from beginning to end. From design to installation and beyond, we offer a truly personal service that involves you every step of the way.

The Process

After you get in touch with us, we will arrange for a member of our team to come to your home to measure up, take pictures of your space and talk through your ideas. If you are extending or building a new house, we can work from architectural plans instead. From there we will draw an initial design based on your ‘wish list’ for the finished project.

Once the first drawings are complete, we invite you to visit us at our design studio and workshop. There we can discuss the design and make amendments over a fresh cup of coffee, give you a quote, and show you around the workshop where your kitchen will be made. If you can’t make it to us, then we can come to you or do it remotely. Once you approve the proposed plans, we request a deposit.

Getting Started

As soon as your project is confirmed, we draft highly detailed 3D CAD drawings of your design, revising ideas with you as needed. Our skilled craftsmen then begin the cabinet making process, and your dream kitchen starts to take shape. Now is also the time to make final choices on appliances, hardware, colours and finishes.

Next comes the really exciting bit! Our team delivers the kitchen to your home and fits it to perfection. Once it is installed, we precisely measure up for any stone surfaces you require, and our specialist painter comes to carefully hand paint your cabinetry in the colour of your choice. After the last handle is attached, you can finally stand back and gaze at the total transformation of your space.

Making and Fitting

If you require any extras such as lighting or additional furniture - such as barstools, tables and chairs - we can look at sourcing these for you through our interiors shop in Caversham.

Furthermore, once you are the proud owner of a Griggs & Mackay kitchen, you will be entitled to a 15% in-store discount. The perfect excuse to get some lovely new mugs or a statement chopping board to add those finishing touches.

We love to stay in touch with our clients, so even years down the line we are always on hand to answer questions, carry out style updates, or make needed repairs.
