Our Workshop

All our projects are designed and made here in our Oxfordshire workshop, nestled in a picturesque valley near Henley-on-Thames. We are always happy for you to visit to see our craftsmen in action.

Based in the idyllic South Oxfordshire countryside, our design studio and workshops occupy several renovated barns at Valley Farm in Bix Bottom, where we are continually inspired by the beautiful scenery and changing seasons surrounding us.

It is here that your perfect kitchen is meticulously planned and the details carefully considered. We encourage all our clients to visit the workshop if possible, not only to discuss the design over a cup of coffee and go through all the exciting options for fixtures, finishes and appliances, but also to see your own project being built. Part of the joy of what we do is being able to include our clients in the whole process.

Our bespoke kitchens and furniture is all made on site by our team of expert cabinet makers. Combining old and new, we use both traditional joinery techniques - such as the dovetail joints on our premium oak draws - alongside advanced CNC precision technology. All our timber and sheet materials are of the highest quality, and we always source from FSC approved suppliers.

Wherever possible, we support small local businesses for additional components such as worktop materials and flooring, as well as working with select tradesman such as builders, plumbers and electricians when required. We are proud of these trusted partnerships we have developed over time.

Being fortunate enough to work in such a stunning location, we are constantly reminded of the importance of caring for our environment and making efforts to offset our carbon emissions. A project that we are particularly proud of is the planting of over three hundred trees on the estate. The trees are all native species, including oak, beech, cherry, hornbeam, ash and more. We are enjoying seeing them grow.

Managing waste is also crucial. Good quality off-cuts of wood and marble are often given a second life by being made into chopping boards and small pieces of furniture for our shop. Then in an effort to keep things circular, our waste wood is made into brickettes to fuel the workshop’s wood pellet heating system, which helps to reduce our carbon footprint.

These are small but very important steps in our programme of sustainability which we are constantly reviewing.
